Seoul Fashion Hub Hosts '2025 Seoul Fashion Festa'

The Seoul Fashion Hub will host the '2025 Seoul Fashion Festa' from September 19th (Friday) to the 21st (Sunday) at the Design Street and Miraero area of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. This event marks the first official occasion where Dongdaemun-based brands directly engage with consumers to sell their products, aiming to revitalize the Dongdaemun fashion district and showcase the competitiveness of K-fashion brands. The Seoul Fashion Hub is jointly operated by the Korea Fashion Association and the Korea Fashion Designer Association, with support from the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

This festa will feature 100 K-fashion brands, including 50 Dongdaemun wholesale brands discovered and supported by the Seoul Fashion Hub, and 50 designer brands supported by the Seoul Fashion Hub and Hi Seoul Showroom. It is particularly significant as it is the first large-scale event where brands nurtured by the hub directly approach consumers for sales and promotion.

This year, the Seoul Fashion Hub has continued to provide 'brand growth support' to wholesalers with branding consulting, lookbook and SNS content creation, digital marketing training, and sales channel support. For designers, it has offered tailored consulting, office space support, prototype production, and both online and offline market development. These efforts have already shown results. At the B2B order exhibition held at DDP Igansumun Exhibition Hall in April this year, overseas buyers from China, Taiwan, Japan, and domestic buyers conducted a total of 130 consultations, resulting in contracts worth approximately 980 million won.

The slogan for this year's Seoul Fashion Festa is 'FEEL IT, WEAR IT', designed as a festival where consumers can directly experience and enjoy a variety of K-fashion beyond mere sales. The venue will feature various programs such as ▲ four-cut photo shoots ▲ personal color diagnosis ▲ roulette events, allowing visitors to stay and enjoy, along with on-site promotions offering K-fashion at reasonable prices.

Additionally, live commerce broadcasts featuring domestic and international influencers will be conducted simultaneously, spreading the excitement online. This is expected to connect not only domestic consumers but also international ones in real-time, serving as a stepping stone for Dongdaemun-based brands to leap onto the global stage.

A representative from the Seoul Fashion Hub stated, "The Seoul Fashion Festa is not just a consumer event; it is a starting point for brands supported by the hub to share their achievements and grow further," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide practical support and expand sales channels to establish Dongdaemun as the center of K-fashion domestic brands."
